About Us

In 1979 Jr and Pam Frisbee started a business with a handful of grass seed and a heart full of dreams. They bought a hydroseeder and started making NC green. They opened a small store front and started selling grass seed by the scoop along with lime, fertilizer, feed, and Carhartt clothing.

Fast forward to 2022, we are now located at 970 Brown Avenue in Waynesville, NC, and are one of Carhartt’s largest dealers in WNC. The Lord has blessed us here at Pioneer Supply, and we have grown tenfold. We now offer a wide variety of erosion control materials, Infiltrator septic systems, Bowie hydroseeders, Lane pipe/culvert, PVC, and our MANY varieties of grass seed.

Inside the store, you’ll be surprised to find a great selection of men’s work, hunting, and casual clothes, including brands such as Carhartt, Ariat, and Heybo. Along with a women’s boutique and children’s Carhartt selection.
